Aim of this digital Information desk is to bring results of scientific research into psychosocial care and treatment methods, in an easy accessible way, to the attention of anyone who has to deal with dementia in their daily life or in their work situation, so they can make use and benefit from it. In the coming months the database of the Information desk will be extended.

Members activity

Anthea Innes will take up post of Professor of Health and Social Care Research at Bournemouth University on 1 December 2011. Dementia will continue to be part of her work remit.

Grant  for VALID (Valuing Active Life in Dementia) project led by Professor Martin Orrell

 

 

INTERDEM Is pleased to announce that a research team led by Professor Martin Orrell of University College London and North East London NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded a £2 million Programme Grant by the UK National Institute for Health Research to evaluate a Community Occupational Therapy intervention for people with dementia (COTID) and their carers.
